    The Ellington VISION & Mission

    Ellington logo

Vision- At Ellington School each student will be a problem solver, critical thinker, an effective communicator, and a positive contributor to the community.

Mission- At Ellington School we strive to create an environment where each student attains or exceeds academic proficiency and is on the path to college and career readiness.

We are a PBIS school! We focus on positive behaviors and teach our students to T.E.N.D.

T Treat others with dignity and respect
    E Encourage others
    N Never Give Up
    D Do your best!

Ellington Eagles read daily. Readers are leaders! Our students hold themselves accountable by setting reading goals.  Students also play math games using our Every Day Math Program. It is great fun while also learning math concepts.  Go Ellington!

    Ellington's PTO Update

Ellington’s PTO, (Parent Teacher Organization) serves the same purpose as a PTA.  The main difference is that 100% of our membership drive goes directly to Ellington students.  PTO membership envelopes will be sent home.  The cost is $5.00 per family to join.  Our PTO has been hard at work planning fun and exciting activities for students.  Thanks to PTO and parent support, we are able to offer field trips, awards, family nights, and assemblies.

PTO sells school T-shirts all year.  We have spirit day every Friday.  Students are encouraged to wear their school shirt or a blue shirt to show school pride.   Our main fundraiser will take place in September.  We ask that each child try to sell at least 1 item. Thank you for supporting our school.  A special thank you to our PTO board members for helping to make Ellington a great place!
